British envoy praises Azerbaijan's role in regional security and climate action VIDEO

British Ambassador Fergus Auld congratulated Azerbaijan on May 28 - Independence Day, as reported by Caliber.Az citing the diplomat’s tweet.

“Today, together with the Azerbaijani people, we celebrate Azerbaijan's Independence Day! Once raised flag will never fall!" the diplomat said.

Fergus Auld noted that the British Embassy is delighted to celebrate this day alongside the Azerbaijani people.

“Azerbaijan has faced numerous challenges over the past 33 years. Last year, Azerbaijan was elected chairman of COP29. As a sovereign state, Azerbaijan contributes to regional security and the global fight against climate change,” the ambassador said.
