Trump shares Azerbaijani top official's interview on South Caucasus peace

US President Donald Trump has shared a link to a Newsmax interview with Hikmet Hajiyev, aide to the President of Azerbaijan and head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, on his Truth Social page.

In the interview with Newsmax CEO Christopher Rudd, titled “Azerbaijan's Hajiyev to Newsmax: Trump Peacemaker, Iran Deal Possible,” the Azerbaijani presidential aide said Trump’s successful efforts to bring peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia had transformed the strategic landscape of the South Caucasus.

Hajiyev also said the peace efforts had opened a new era in US-Azerbaijan relations.
