Armenia denies intelligence-sharing deal with France
Information that Armenia agreed to intelligence-sharing with France during Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Paris is untrue.
Gor Tsarukyan, Director of the Head of Government's Public Relations and Information Centre made the statement in this regard while speaking to Armenpress agency, RBC reports.
A report about such an agreement between the parties appeared earlier on the French blog platform Agoravox, the agency said.
Tsarukyan stressed that users are free to register and publish their materials on the platform, which are not subject to editing. "Therefore, the source cannot be considered reliable. In particular, the mentioned material was published by a person using the nickname 'S. Lampion', after which the information was immediately spread on the Azerbaijani pages of the social network X. From the above, it is obvious that we are dealing with a disinformation campaign against Armenia," he said.
