Armenia, Greece discuss military cooperation

On October 20, Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic Evangelos Tournakis, as well as newly appointed Defence Attaché, Colonel Christos Arseniou, the press service of the Armenian Defence Ministry said.

"The head of the Defence Ministry congratulated Colonel Christos Arseniou on the start of his mission in Armenia and wished him good luck in his activities," the ministry noted, Caliber.Az reports with reference to Armenian media.

"During the meeting, issues related to the Armenian-Greek cooperation in the sphere of defence, as well as regional security were discussed," the report says.
