Armenia hotbed for re-export of western goods to Russia IIF Economist
Former Chief Economist of Institute of International Finance (IIF), former Chief FX Strategist at Goldman Sachs and Senior Economist Robin Brooks has said that Armenia is a hotbed for re-export of western goods to Russia.
“There are two hotbeds for re-export of western goods to Russia in Central Asia and the Caucasus: Armenia (top left) and Georgia (bottom left),” Brooks made a post on his X account, Caliber.Az reports.
German exports of motor vehicles and parts (blue) to Kyrgyzstan are up 5500% since Russia invaded Ukraine. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that all this stuff is heading to Russia. It's not like Kyrgyzstan is suddenly in a massive boom. Germany has to stop this... pic.twitter.com/aVZs7Ji3mO

There are two hotbeds for re-export of western goods to Russia in Central Asia and the Caucasus: Armenia (top left) and Georgia (bottom left).
“Armenia stands out for massive direct exports to Russia (black), Georgia for a huge surge in exports to Russia's satellite economies blue,” the economist posted.
