Armenian government sends police to villages to be returned to Azerbaijan – newspaper
Armenian Hraparak newspaper has published an article saying that the government sent police to villages to be returned to Azerbaijan.
"After Nikol Pashinyan visited Tavush (Tovuzgala - ed.) about ten days ago and received a 'warm' reception, it turns out that he decided to show an equal 'attitude' to his compatriots," the article said, Caliber.Az reports.
"According to our information, special police detachments have been assigned to the villages of Voskepar (Askipara - ed.), Baganis and neighbouring communities, which carry out enhanced service, find ordinary villagers who gave interviews to the media, and conduct explanatory work with them, urging them not to give interviews anymore, explaining that they do not help but harm them, by the way, 'causing Aliyev's anger'.
Of course, the Interior Ministry will rush to deny this fact. Still, many people know about it, and one of the proofs is that the residents of Tavush have been more passive in recent days than immediately after Pashinyan's visit. Now it has become almost impossible to get a word from the residents of Tavush," the article notes.
