Armenian intelligence officer commits suicide

An Armenian intelligence officer has committed suicide.

"According to data received from the criminal investigation department of the regional police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armavir (Sardarabad - ed.), a tragic incident occurred last night. So, in one of the garages on Grigory Lusavorich Street in the city of Etchmiadzin, the body of a man was discovered. During the examination of the body, no signs of violence were found," Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

"A criminal case was initiated in connection with the incident and a forensic examination was appointed. According to preliminary data, the incident is a suicide.

It also became known that the man worked in the National Security Service department of Etchmiadzin city of Armavir region of Armenia," the report says.
