Armenian, Greek defence chiefs discuss military cooperation in Athens
On May 6, Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan met with his Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, in Athens to discuss defence cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Armenian Ministry of Defence, the talks focused on the current state and future development of Armenian-Greek military relations, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the existing level of cooperation and reiterated their readiness to further enhance collaboration in areas such as military education, professional exchanges, and other related fields.
The Armenian Ministry’s press release also noted that regional and international security issues were discussed during the meeting.
Papikyan is currently in Greece on a working visit. No specific agreements or new initiatives were publicly announced following the talks.
