Armenian president, UN Secretary General discuss situation in South Caucasus
Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian discussed the situation in the South Caucasus with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The meeting took place on the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
"During the short talk, Khachaturian presented the details of the situation in the region, as well as Armenia's approaches to the issues of establishing a stable and long-term peace in the South Caucasus.
The UN Secretary-General expressed hope that regional problems will get a solution as soon as possible, which will ensure stability and development for the entire region," the statement reads.
During the forum, Khachaturian also met with Argentine President Javier Milei and former US Secretary of State John Kerry.
