Armenian troops wound Azerbaijani serviceman Next provocation by Armenia on the border

On the evening of May 10, units of the Armenian armed forces located in the Zod direction of the Basarkechar region subjected the opposite positions of the Azerbaijani Army to intensive fire from various types of small arms, deliberately committing a provocation.

Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, that as a result of fire, a serviceman of the extra-active military service of the Azerbaijani army, Mahmudlu Muslim, was seriously wounded in the head.

The wounded soldier was immediately taken to a military medical facility.

Despite warnings about the need to put an end to provocations and deliberate aggravation of the situation, the Armenian side once again violated the ceasefire.

The units of the Azerbaijani army took the necessary response measures to suppress the fire.

All responsibility for this deliberately committed provocation lies with the military-political leadership of Armenia, according to the ministry.

In the meantime, the Armenian Defence Ministry reported injuries of two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Armenia as a result of the provocation.
