Azerbaijani, Belarusian defence ministers discuss military cooperation PHOTO / VIDEO

Azerbaijan's Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has held a meeting in China with his Belarusian counterpart, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, to discuss prospects for developing military and military-technical cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

The ministry said the sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.

The forum will be hosted by the China Association for Military Science and the China Institute for International Strategic Studies under the theme “Build Consensus On Stability, Advance Security Governance Together.”

The Beijing Xiangshan Forum is one of China’s highest-profile annual international security and defence conferences. It brings together military personnel, defence officials, government representatives, and global security experts to discuss regional and international security issues.
