Azerbaijan and Belarus have officially signed a “Cooperation Program” (or “Road Map”) for 2024-2025, as announced by the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health.
The agreement was made during a visit by a delegation led by Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov to Belarus on October 3. It focuses on enhancing collaboration in various sectors, particularly healthcare, Caliber.Az reports.
The signing ceremony saw Azerbaijani Health Minister Teymur Musayev and Belarusian Health Minister Alexander Khojayev formalize the document, which outlines key areas of cooperation, including academic and scientific exchanges, training for medical personnel, advancements in the pharmaceutical industry, and the digitalization of healthcare systems.
Moreover, the program emphasizes the sharing of experience and advanced training for specialists in fields such as medical oncology, transplantology, cardiology, and neurosurgery, alongside the exchange of information on collaboration with research institutes and centres.
