Ukrainian FM congratulates Baku on agreements reached in Washington
On August 16, a telephone conversation was held between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Ukraine, Jeyhun Bayramov and Andrii Sybiha.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, cited by Caliber.Az, Sybiha congratulated Baku on the agreements signed between Azerbaijan and the United States, as well as on the progress made in normalising relations with Armenia during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Washington.
The ministers discussed current issues in the Azerbaijan-Ukraine partnership, including cooperation in political, economic, energy, transport, and humanitarian sectors.
Both sides highlighted the important role of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation in strengthening bilateral ties.
Sybiha expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its humanitarian assistance and support in rebuilding territories affected by the conflict. He also updated Bayramov on the ongoing negotiations related to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
