Azerbaijan, Northern Cyprus reinforce bonds through strategic, cultural cooperation
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ünal Üstel, to discuss the current state of and future prospects for bilateral relations.
The sides highlighted the importance of high-level reciprocal visits and the ongoing development of inter-parliamentary and political cooperation, the Cabinet of Ministers told Caliber.Az.
They also emphasized expanding collaboration in the humanitarian sphere, with particular focus on culture and tourism.
The meeting hailed the significance of both countries’ engagement within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). Officials acknowledged the TRNC’s contributions to the organization’s activities in its observer capacity, reinforcing shared commitments to regional partnership and cooperation among Turkic-speaking nations.
