Azerbaijan, Belarus strengthen cultural bonds through new literary-documentary exhibition
A new literary-documentary exhibition titled "With the Blood of the Heart" is set to strengthen cultural ties between Belarus and Azerbaijan, promoting closer cooperation between the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature and the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature.
The exhibition, currently on display at the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature in Baku, is part of an ongoing collaboration between the two institutions. During the opening ceremony, Sergei Usik, the director of the Belarusian Museum, highlighted the significance of this partnership, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
"I would like to express my gratitude to the leadership of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, as well as to the Embassy of Belarus for the warm welcome and for organising our exhibition," Usik remarked.
"Such a strong start to our cooperation indicates that our relations will continue to strengthen year after year." Rafael Huseynov, the director of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature, also shared his optimism for the future of the collaboration.
"Our countries have significant potential to deepen cooperation, not only in cultural matters but also in other areas," he stated, emphasising the broader scope of potential exchanges.
The exhibition, which runs from April 18 to 20, commemorates the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II and features works and creative contributions from participants in the partisan movement.
