Azerbaijan face San Marino in second Austria camp test

The Azerbaijan national football team will look to respond to a disappointing start to their training camp when they take on the San Marino national football team in an international friendly on Tuesday, June 9.

The fixture marks Azerbaijan’s second warm-up match as part of their ongoing preparations in Austria, where head coach Aykhan Abbasov continues to assess his squad ahead of upcoming competitive fixtures, as per domestic media reports.

The match will be played at Haladás Stadium in Szombathely, Hungary, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 GMT. Hungarian referee Márton Rúzsa has been appointed to officiate.

Azerbaijan entered the game seeking improvement after a 2–0 defeat to the Malta national football team in their opening friendly of the camp, a result that underlined the need for sharper execution at both ends of the pitch.
