Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Mercedes CEO hopes for better results following difficult races
CEO of Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team Toto Wolff has said that his team aims for a more successful performance in Baku compared to the previous two races, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
He noted that the races in the Netherlands and Italy proved to be difficult for them:
“We hope that the improvements we apply in Azerbaijan and then in Singapore will help us to improve our results. Both tracks are difficult.”
Pilots of Mercedes George Russell and Lewis Hamilton could not get on the podium in the races in the Netherlands and Italy.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held from September 13 to 15.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is a Formula One motor racing event that was held for the first time in 2017. It is held on the Baku City Circuit, a street circuit in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The event is due to take place at the Baku City Circuit until at least 2026.
