Azerbaijan, Hungary discuss expanding multifaceted cooperation PHOTO
Azerbaijan and Hungary have ample opportunities to strengthen ties in the fields of energy, industry, transport, information technology, agriculture, trade, education, and the necessary measures are being taken to realise this potential.
This was discussed at the meeting of Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov and Hungarian Economic Development Minister Marton Nagy, Report informs.
The meeting highlighted the important role of the development of Azerbaijani-Hungarian relations, mutual visits of heads of state and government, and meetings held within the framework of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's official visit to Hungary in January 2023, in strengthening cooperation.
"An indicator of mutual interest in expanding partnership between the two countries is the increase in Azerbaijani-Hungarian trade turnover, the implementation of profitable investment cooperation," the report says.
Marton Nagy spoke about the importance of projects implemented by Azerbaijan in ensuring Europe's energy security and shared his opinion on the expansion of economic and trade ties.
