Azerbaijan, Italy discuss customs cooperation prospects

Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, Lieutenant General of the Customs Service Shahin Baghirov has met with the Ambassador of Italy to Azerbaijan Claudio Taffuri.

The prospects for cooperation between the customs services of the two countries in the exchange of primary information were discussed at the meeting, Report informs citing the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

The relations of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy, as well as the importance of establishing more efficient business relations in the field of customs, were discussed.

Italy is one of the important trade partners of Azerbaijan. The customs services have made an important contribution to the development and regulation of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
