Azerbaijan, IFSB explore new frontiers in financial cooperation

Azerbaijan and the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) have discussed prospects for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

The discussions took place during a meeting in Baku between First Deputy Chairman of the CBA Aliyar Mammadyarov and IFSB Secretary-GeneralGhiath Shabsigh, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

During the meeting, the sides reviewed opportunities for expanding cooperation and exchanged views on key developments in the financial sector.

The discussions also focused on ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening financial inclusion and enhancing the resilience of the financial sector. Participants shared perspectives on measures being implemented to support sustainable sectoral development and improve access to financial services.
