Azerbaijan hosts tourism conference focused on eco-friendly approaches

Azerbaijan is holding an international conference on Green Tourism, jointly organised by the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan and the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

The Green Tourism in CICA Countries focuses on key issues related to the development of green tourism based on circular economy principles across member states, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Participants discuss the promotion of sustainable tourism models, the integration of local communities into the tourism sector, and the advancement of environmentally friendly approaches in tourism.

The conference continues with plenary panel discussions, keynote presentations, and meetings of expert working groups.
