Azerbaijan–Italy relations in focus as FM Bayramov addresses Aspen roundtable
As part of his official visit to Italy, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov participated in a high-level roundtable hosted by the Aspen Institute Italia.

“During his official visit to Italy, FM Jeyhun Bayramov took part in a high-level roundtable at Aspen Institute Italia. Minister has been welcomed by Giulio Tremonti, Chairman of Aspen Institute Italia & Chair of the Committee on Foreign & EU Affairs of Italy’s Chamber of Deputies and Giuliano Amato, Honorary Chairman Aspen Institute Italia; President Emeritus, Corte Costituzionale.
During the roundtable discussions chaired by Marta Dassù, Senior Director European Affairs, Aspen Institute Italia, and the debate joined by many dignitaries, businessmen, academicians, chief of companies, Minister Bayramov informed the audience about the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Italy, regional security developments, energy cooperation, connectivity initiatives, and the evolving dynamics in the South Caucasus, Central Asia and the Middle East.
The session continued with an engaging Q&A, addressing geopolitical challenges, Azerbaijan’s peace agenda, and opportunities for deeper academic and analytical collaboration,” the post by the Ministry reads.
Meanwhile, in a post on his X account, Foreign Minister Bayramov expressed his gratitude to Giulio Tremonti, Chairman of Aspen Institute Italia & Chair of the Committee on Foreign & EU Affairs of Italy’s Chamber of Deputies, for extending a gracious and cordial reception.
