Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan discuss expanding defence cooperation PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan have discussed the current level of defence cooperation and explored prospects for further development, emphasising the value of exchanging expertise and experience as part of a meeting between a delegation from Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijani officials.

A delegation from Kyrgyzstan has paid an official visit to Azerbaijan in line with the 2026 bilateral cooperation programme signed between the Ministries of Defence of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, officials from the Main Operational Department of the Ministry of Defence provided the visiting delegation with detailed briefings on the department’s functions, as well as ongoing activities in the area of operational planning.

The meeting also included discussions on a range of relevant issues, with members of the Kyrgyz delegation receiving answers to their questions of interest.
