Jordanian parliament speaker pays official visit to Azerbaijan PHOTO

Mazed Torki Saoud Alqadi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the People's Assembly of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is paying an official visit to Azerbaijan.

The Jordanian parliamentary delegation was received at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (parliament) Musa Gasimli, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan Shahin Abdullayev, Jordan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Omar Barakat Al-Nahar, and other officials, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

As part of the visit, Alqadi will attend the 20th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States in Baku and hold a number of meetings with Azerbaijani officials.

The visit is scheduled to conclude on June 26.
