Azerbaijan, Netherlands forge bright future with eco-friendly lighting

The Dutch embassy in Azerbaijan has highlighted the significant contributions of their country to the environmental transformation of the republic. 

Thanks to the collaboration between Azerbaijan and the Dutch company Signify, lighting fixtures and lamps from this firm illuminate major roads, airports, historical and architectural landmarks across the country, the embassy told Caliber.Az.

"This ensures high-quality lighting, ultra-efficient energy consumption, and contributes to economic development. It also signifies the use of safe materials and a significant reduction in plastic waste. Sustainable urban development is crucial for a green future, and we are very pleased with the collaboration between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan in this field," the embassy stated.
