Azerbaijan prepares to lodge complaint with IOC over France 2 broadcast

Azerbaijan is set to file a formal complaint with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) regarding statements made against Baku during the live broadcast of the Olympic Games opening ceremony on the French TV channel France 2.

Chingiz Huseynzada, Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Azerbaijan, confirmed the move, according to Caliber.Az.

“The complaint is being prepared. Now its text is being clarified. We will try to submit the complaint to the IOC today,” Huseynzada stated.

He also mentioned that the National Olympic Committee will distribute the text of the complaint through its channels once finalized.
