Azerbaijan ranks fourth in Islamic Solidarity Games

The number of medals bagged by the Azerbaijani athletes has increased to 58 at the end of the tenth day of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, held in the Turkish city of Konya.

The Azerbaijani sportsmen grabbed 18 gold, 22 silver, and 18 bronze medals so far, Report informs.

With this result, Azerbaijan took fourth place in the overall rankings of the countries participating in the Islamiada.

The first three positions are occupied by Türkiye with 209 medals (79 gold, 73 silver, 57 bronze), Iran with 94 medals (32 gold, 24 silver, 38 bronze), and Uzbekistan with 86 medals (27 gold, 24 silver, 35 bronze), respectively.
