Azerbaijan's ambassadors to Oman, Thailand begin activity
Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada has said that this year, Azerbaijan has appointed new ambassadors to Oman and Thailand, who have already begun their duties.
“Enhancing Azerbaijan's missions abroad has consistently been a priority for the country's leadership,” he said in an interview with Report, Caliber.Az reports.
He added that expanding Azerbaijan's diplomatic presence in key countries is a major priority. In 2023, efforts to establish new diplomatic missions continued, with the opening of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Slovakia (in Bratislava) and the inauguration of the embassy in Israel (in Tel Aviv) on March 29, 2023.
Additionally, Azerbaijan's representative office began activity in Ramallah, Palestine. The total number of Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions abroad has reached 91.
