Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa arrives in Azerbaijan PHOTO

The President of the Syrian Arab Republic for the transitional period, Ahmed al-Sharaa, arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on a working visit on July 12.

According to AZERTAC, an honour guard was lined up at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in honour of the distinguished guest. The Syrian President was welcomed by First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, and other officials.
