Azerbaijan's population exceeds 10 million

According to the recalculation of the results of the 2019 census, the population of Azerbaijan as of January 1, 2023, is 10,127,145 people.

Caliber.Az reports, citing the State Statistics Committee, that 54.6% of the population are urban residents, 45.4% rural residents, while 49.8% are men and 50.2% women.
