Azerbaijan's social services network "ASAN Xidmət" receives prestigious global award

At the 10th World Government Summit in Dubai (UAE) on February 15, Azerbaijan's one-stop-shop social services network "ASAN Xidmət" (ASAN Service) was awarded the "Best Government Service in the World".

As Azertag was informed in ASAN Xidmət, the award was presented by the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, to the chairman of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Mehdiyev.

The award was established at the initiative of the government of the United Arab Emirates in order to evaluate advanced government initiatives and encourage successful experience in promoting innovation in the field of public services.

A total of 80 applicant countries competed for the award.
