Azerbaijan's top trading partners and foreign trade trends in January-April 2024
In January-April 2024, Azerbaijan's primary trade partner was Italy, with trade amounting to $3.4 billion, representing 22.32% of total trade turnover.

However, this figure reflects a 48.5% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Türkeye followed as the second largest trading partner, with a turnover of $2.37 billion (14.95%), showing a 21.2% decline from the previous year. Russia ranked third, with trade totaling $1.4 billion (9.6%), down by 5.7%.
Other notable countries in the top 10 include China at $1 billion (up 27.3%), Israel at $634 million (up 24.1%), India at $582 million (down 5%), Germany at $552 million (down 4.6%), Australia at $293 million (a significant increase of 37.2 times), and Romania at $238 million (a growth of 26.9%).
Overall, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover for January-April 2024 exceeded $13 billion, marking a 23.8% decrease compared to the previous year, as reported by the State Customs Committee.
