Azerbaijan dishes out culture, cuisine at Tel Aviv EAT 2025 PHOTO
Azerbaijan is making a flavorful impression at the international gastronomic festival Tel Aviv EAT 2025, currently underway in Israel.
The country’s participation is spearheaded by the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Tourism Board's representative office in Israel and the Azerbaijani embassy, Caliber.Az reports via the State Tourism Agency.
Festival visitors are being treated to the rich and diverse flavors of Azerbaijani cuisine, as part of a broader effort to promote the nation's cultural and tourism appeal in the Israeli market. The Azerbaijani pavilion features traditional dishes, culinary demonstrations, promotional videos, and informational materials highlighting the country's attractions.
"The main goal of participating in the festival is to promote Azerbaijan on the Israeli market and present the cultural and tourism opportunities of our country to a wider audience," said representatives from the State Tourism Agency.
Tel Aviv EAT 2025 runs until May 22 and brings together food lovers, chefs, and tourism professionals from around the world. Azerbaijan’s presence at the festival comes amid a significant rise in tourism from Israel. According to official figures, 13,636 Israeli citizens visited Azerbaijan between January and April 2025 — nearly triple the number from the same period last year.
