Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabian ACWA Power sign new deals

An action plan (roadmap) for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project and the 200 MW wind farm project has been signed between the Renewable Energy Agency under the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry and the Saudi ACWA Power company.

The documents were signed by Director of the Renewable Energy Agency Javid Abdullayev and Director General of ACWA Power responsible for Azerbaijan and Türkiye Selim Guven, Report informs.

The signing ceremony was held within the third Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum in Nakhchivan on September 29.
