Azerbaijan promotes tourism opportunities in Pakistan PHOTO

The Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau showcased the country’s tourism opportunities in Pakistan from September 15 to 19.

A series of events were held in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, bringing together more than 360 representatives from Pakistan’s tourism sector, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azerbaijan’s State Tourism Agency.

The events highlighted Azerbaijan’s historical and cultural heritage, winter tourism and ski resorts, as well as opportunities for wellness and ecotourism.

“Information was presented on Azerbaijan’s historical and cultural heritage, winter tourism and ski resorts, as well as opportunities for wellness and ecotourism. During business meetings held between representatives of the tourism industries of Azerbaijan and Pakistan, opportunities for cooperation and partnership between the tourism sectors of the two countries were discussed,” the statement noted.
