US, Azerbaijani innovators explore technology cooperation at BakuID

US Chargé d’Affaires Amy Carlon visited the BakuID Innovation Conference at SABAH.CITY, where American and Azerbaijani innovators, entrepreneurs, students and experts met to develop new connections in technology and business.

According to the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, experts sponsored by the US Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program provided one-on-one mentorship to Azerbaijani entrepreneurs and startup founders, Caliber.Az reports.

The embassy’s EducationUSA team also connected students with educational opportunities in the United States.

The embassy said the initiatives support the US-Azerbaijan Charter on Strategic Partnership, which includes plans to deepen cooperation in technology, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, investment and commercialisation.
