A shipment of 984 tons of diesel fuel exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia has departed from Bilajari station operated by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, with the cargo expected to reach Armenia via transit through Georgia.
The consignment comprises 17 wagons of diesel fuel en route to Boyuk Kesik station, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
To date, Azerbaijan has exported over 12,000 tons of diesel, along with 979 tons of RON 92 gasoline and 2,955 tons of RON 95 gasoline to Armenia.
Fuel deliveries to Armenia began on December 18, 2025, when 1,220 tons of RON 95 gasoline were supplied.
Following President Ilham Aliyev’s decision in October 2025 to remove restrictions on cargo transit from Azerbaijan to Armenia — restrictions that had been in place since the occupation period — shipments along this route have continued.

Another shipment of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia is scheduled for June 11, with the consignment including 17 railcars transporting 984 tons of diesel fuel.
The train is set to depart at 16:00 (GMT+4) from Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and will travel toward Boyuk Kesik station, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Earlier, 2,475 tonnes of diesel fuel were dispatched to Armenia, continuing a series of energy shipments.
Officials said the latest consignment brings total deliveries on this corridor to more than 10,000 tonnes of diesel, alongside 979 tonnes of A-92 petrol and 2,955 tonnes of A-95 petrol.
Fuel exports from Azerbaijan to Armenia began on December 18, 2025, when 1,220 tonnes of A-95 petrol were shipped in the first such delivery.
The resumption of transit follows a decision taken in October 2025 by President Ilham Aliyev to lift restrictions on the movement of goods from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
