Azerbaijan targets top results at U17 Wrestling World Championships
Azerbaijan aims to secure top places at the upcoming U17 Wrestling World Championships in Baku, Parvin Piriyev, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF), told journalists.
"The goal must be to take the highest places. First of all, the wrestler's health is important. The aim is to be among the top ranks, but it is not our main priority. We focus more on preparing athletes for higher age categories," Piriyev said, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The U17 Wrestling World Championships will be held from July 27 to August 2 at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.
