Azerbaijan to create registry for food security

A food security registry will be created in Azerbaijan.

The proposal is included in the new draft law on the food security, according to Report.

The registry will reportedly include the registered catering entities or food industry facilities, as well as those involved in the production and recycling of materials and goods related to the food products.

The system is considered the information resource of Azerbaijan. The information integrated into the registry, which does not contain commercial or tax secrets, is published on the official website of the relevant institution established by the appropriate executive body and is open to public use.
