New transit shipment of Russian supplies heads to Armenia via Azerbaijan UPDATED
A new shipment of Russian grain and fertilisers has been dispatched to Armenia, transiting through Azerbaijan, according to domestic media.
The cargo was transported by rail, with a train made up of seven wagons departing from Balajari station, located in the suburbs of Baku.
Four railcars carrying a total of 279 tons of grain and three additional railcars transporting 203 tons of fertiliser have been dispatched to Armenia.
The train is scheduled to travel onward via Boyuk Kesik station to Georgia, before continuing its route to Armenia.
Earlier shipments sent in transit through Azerbaijan included more than 25,000 tons of Russian grain, over 1,600 tons of fertiliser, and 68 tons of buckwheat delivered to Armenia.
In addition to transit operations, exports of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia are ongoing. So far, these exports have totalled more than 8,500 tons of diesel fuel, 979 tons of AI-92 gasoline, and 2,955 tons of AI-95 gasoline.

Grain and fertilisers are set to be transported to Armenia on April 30 via transit through Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The cargo will depart from the Bilajari Railway Station operated by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
The latest shipment follows a similar transit operation on April 24, when 350 tonnes of Russian wheat were delivered to Armenia through Azerbaijani territory.
