On May 22, the Azerbaijani Air Force’s Academy for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles held a graduation ceremony for personnel trained in the operation of Orbiter 3HC drone systems, as part of this year’s military training plan.
According to a report from the Ministry of Defence shared with Caliber.Az, the ceremony marked the successful completion of the specialist course for UAV operators.
The event opened with a moment of silence in tribute to the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, as well as to the martyrs who gave their lives defending the country’s territorial integrity. This was followed by a performance of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Namig Bayramov conveyed congratulations from the Ministry’s leadership and expressed confidence in the graduates’ future contributions to military service.
It was emphasised that the training curriculum incorporated lessons learned from both the Patriotic War and recent combat operations, ensuring the course was grounded in practical, real-world experience.
Participants who completed the course successfully were presented with official certificates.
