Azerbaijan, Poland discuss expanding cooperation on humanitarian demining Photo

Senior officials from the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) held talks with Poland’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Paweł Radomski, to discuss potential Polish support for humanitarian demining efforts in the country.

During the meeting, First Deputy Chairman of ANAMA Shamil Rzayev and Deputy Chairman Samir Poladov briefed the ambassador on the scale of landmine contamination in Azerbaijan and the progress made in clearing territories liberated from occupation, Caliber.Az reports via ANAMA. 

Both sides exchanged views on prospects for cooperation in mine action, avenues for Polish assistance, and other issues of mutual interest.
