Cuban president pledges to deepen ties with Azerbaijan
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has met with Tahir Budagov, deputy chairman of Azerbaijan’s ruling New Azerbaijan Party, in Havana.
According to Caliber.Az, Díaz-Canel described the meeting on X page as “cordial” and reaffirmed Cuba’s commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two countries’ parties, governments, and peoples.
He highlighted the shared legacy of Fidel Castro and Heydar Aliyev as a foundation for deepening bilateral relations.
