Azerbaijani FM meets Pope during official visit to the Vatican
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Pope Leo XIV during an official visit to the Vatican, attending a general audience and holding discussions with the pontiff.
Bayramov wrote on X he was honoured to meet His Holiness, noting that Azerbaijan and the Holy See maintain“strong relations that play a key role in advancing interfaith dialogue and promoting multiculturalism, Caliber.Az reports.

Azerbaijan and the Holy See have strong relations that are important for fostering interfaith dialogue, and promoting multiculturalism.

"The relationship between the two countries serves as a model for dialogue between different faiths, which is a cornerstone of Azerbaijan's state policy," Bayramov wrote.
