Azerbaijan unveils countries acquiring most of F1 tickets
Head of Sales and Commercial Department of Baku City Circuit Sabri Gulmaliyev has unveiled the countries that bought most of the tickets for the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
“At the preliminary stage, foreigners showed more interest in the competitions,” he said, Report informs.
“As of January 25, fans from the Netherlands, the UK and Georgia bought more tickets than other countries. So far, fans have shown the biggest interest in four-day tickets with access to the grandstand. We think that the sprint race, which will be held in Baku for the first time, has also impacted sales growth,” Gulmaliyev noted.
The head of the department added that the tickets to the stands of the Philharmonic had been completely sold out.
The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held in Baku on April 28-30, 2023.
