Azerbaijan unveils number of weapons found in Khankandi PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has unveiled the the number of weapons discovered in Khankandi on May 4 – 10.

From May 4 to May 10, police officers in Khankandi city found and seized 38 automatic rifles, 8 pistols, 14 rifles, 1 grenade launcher, 23 grenades, 23 igniters, 136 magazines, 21,040 cartridges of various calibers, 5 explosives with TNT, 27 bayonet knives and other ammunition, the ministry told Caliber.Az.

The Interior Ministry told Caliber.Az that 5 automatic rifles, 18 magazines and 290 cartridges of various calibers were found and seized in Aghdara district. Measures to clear the liberated territories of weapons and ammunition are underway.
