Azerbaijan updates number of population

The Azerbaijani population reached 10,204,774 people as of October 1, 2022.

The country's population has increased by 48,408 people or 0.5 per cent since the beginning of the year, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Caliber.Az.

Some 52.9 per cent of the population accounts for urban residents, 47.1 per cent for rural residents, while the proportion of men and women remains unchanged.
