Azerbaijan, Vietnam seek to enhance bilateral cooperation

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh have expressed their commitment to strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries as they met in Kazan at the BRICS summit.

According to Vietnamese media, both leaders emphasized the importance of enhancing the bilateral intergovernmental commission focused on economic, trade, scientific, and technological collaboration, Caliber.Az reports.

They also discussed expanding cooperation in key sectors such as oil and gas, agriculture, tourism, and inter-regional partnerships.

President Aliyev participated in the 16th BRICS Summit in the Outreach/BRICS+ format, held on October 23-24 in Kazan.
