Bosnian leader Komšić to attend XIII Global Baku Forum
Zeljko Komšić, Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is set to participate in the XIII Global Baku Forum, scheduled to take place in the Azerbaijani capital in March.
The Azerbaijani Ambassador to Sarajevo, Vilayat Guliyev, confirmed to local media that Komšić will arrive in Baku on March 11 for the visit.
During his stay, he is expected to attend the forum and hold bilateral meetings with senior officials.
Organised by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Nizami Ganjavi Centre, the XIII Global Baku Forum is set to host over 400 international participants. The Forum will take place in Baku from March 12–14, 2026, under the theme “Bridging Divides in a World in Transition.”
Established in 2013 and coordinated by the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre, the Forum provides a high-level platform for current and former government officials, representatives of international organisations, and leading academics to engage in dialogue on regional and global policy issues.
The 13th edition comes amid heightened diplomatic activity in the region and will focus on pressing topics, including geopolitical transitions and international security.
