Baku hosts Advisory meeting with NATO experts PHOTO
As part of the 2026 Individual Partnership Cooperation Programme (IPCP) between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan and NATO, an Advisory meeting is currently being held in Baku.
During this Advisory meeting, which represents a crucial component of NATO’s Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) Evaluation and Feedback Programme, officials detailed the planning and preparatory progress of the OCC units’ Self-Evaluation Level-1 (SEL-1) exercise, which is scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan in June this year, Caliber.Az reports via the defence ministry.

The primary goal of the meeting, attended by representatives from the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defence and international experts, is to review, clarify, and formally approve the evaluation questions developed to assess multiple aspects of the units recently declared to the OCC programme.
These aspects include combat training activities, logistical support and equipment, and the level of interoperability with NATO standards, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation framework.
